For more than Four decades, ’Balgram SOS Children’s Villages Maharashtra’ a leading NGO in Maharashtra - India has been dedicated to supporting children without parental care. We provide a comprehensive range of high-quality care services that extend beyond basic childcare, focusing on fostering the holistic development of each child that comes under our care. To fulfill this purpose, we have established 5 childcare facilities in the State, in Yerawada-Pune, Panvel- Raigad, Panhala-Kolhapur, Ambernath-Thane and Social Centre Shivajinagar Pune. The Sakal Relief Fund, which was initiated during the Bengal famine in 1942, and continues to collect funds through small and large contributions from the public. The fund has since then continued helping victims of floods, droughts, wars and such calamities. SFA addresses the many challenges of giving (such as difficulty in discovering the right causes, trust deficit, and overall donor apathy). We share stories of (pre-qualified) individuals and groups with a network of its trusted community and partners, who either specialize in providing and supporting the local communities by promoting products or can connect with the cause to help with a donation.
